The Coordination Agency (Samordningsförbundet) is owned and financed by the (Swedish) Employment Service, the Social Insurance Office, the County Council and the Municipalities of Södertälje. These authorities contribute with financial means to the operation of the Coordination Agency and appoints its board members. The aim of the Coordination Agency is to finance and support different forms of joint rehabilitation activities, preventive actions and knowledge-enhancing efforts in order to prevent or shorten sick leave as well as unemployment amongst people with coordinated needs.
